Use completion reminders as a review queue

CueSpec can remind you when a task finishes, and reminders can be cleared individually or together. Clearing a reminder acknowledges the notice; it does not approve the task’s result.

When a conversation finishes#

Mac 0.3.6 shows a short completion notice without taking keyboard focus, automatically expanding the main panel or changing your selected topic. An unread indicator remains afterward. Click the notice or tap the default Fn shortcut to open the result when you are ready.

Task discovery and state checks are separate from quota and full-history reads. New tasks and new turns are checked too, but this is not a measured end-to-end notification-latency guarantee. Read or cleared notices leave the queue, and an old completion is canceled when its conversation enters a new turn. The full-screen hiding preference remains in effect.

Review before clearing#

Open the task and read what actually happened. Check whether the work produced a draft, made changes or encountered a limit. A task finishing is different from the requested outcome being correct or externally published.

Clear the reminder after you have dealt with it, so the remaining list reflects what still needs attention. The reviewed release records describe cleared notices staying cleared after restart, while a later completion in the same task can generate a new notice.

Avoid status shortcuts#

A model-capacity error can require retry rather than completion. The current Mac release distinguishes waiting-to-retry from finished work in that case. If you see contradictory states, compare with Codex before making a decision.

Reminders are task-monitoring support, not automatic approval or autonomous follow-up. CueSpec does not infer that a completed design should be published or that a finished draft should be sent to another person. Your next instruction remains deliberate and attached to the correct conversation.
