What each label means#
- Available on Mac: described in the reviewed Mac release or acceptance record. Some machine-specific coverage may still be incomplete.
- Practical guide: a suggested workflow, example or evaluation method; it is not a built-in automation feature.
- In development: work or an integration is documented, but the complete user route is not ready to promise.
- Coming soon: a stated future direction, with no delivery date implied.
- Needs validation: a hardware estimate, performance target or scenario has not received sufficient real-world verification.
- Under review: a policy, offering or scope decision has not been finalized.
Use the labels together with the text#
A Mac voice article can describe available raw transcription while noting that server-based refinement still needs acceptance. A hardware specification can list supplier-provided dimensions while marking whisper performance as unverified.
Documentation publication and capability status are separate: a published article can explain a future feature, and an available feature can still have limits that deserve careful documentation. Read the reviewed date and current product-facts page before using a claim in a purchase decision or promotional material.
