Grant access for the task you intend#
Review the permission request and use the corresponding macOS privacy controls if the app cannot capture audio or respond to its interaction trigger. Confirm that the permission applies to the installed CueSpec copy you actually launched. Testing an older app beside a newer installation can make the result confusing.
After changing access, return to CueSpec’s status overview and run a short, non-sensitive test. Test capture first, then the shortcut, then delivery. Avoid treating all desktop problems as a microphone issue.
Work-managed Macs#
A device administrator may control privacy permissions or software installation. If the switch is unavailable or reverts, record the visible message and ask the administrator about the allowed setup. CueSpec’s reviewed materials do not establish a managed deployment package or enterprise administration support.
Granting permission does not authorize CueSpec to send every draft automatically. The documented workflow retains a review step and explicit sending. Likewise, a server health check is separate from macOS permission checks and should not be used as evidence that local recording is ready.
