A useful edit order#
Check the object and requested action first. Then check names, numbers, dates, units and negative instructions. Finally, improve wording and remove redundant explanation. This order catches consequential errors before cosmetic ones.
Use mixed input when it helps: speak the context and paste an exact error string. If you are describing uncertain information, retain that uncertainty. If you only want a draft or comparison, keep that action boundary explicit.
Preserve the intent#
A self-correction can supersede an earlier phrase. Remove the abandoned choice only after checking the final sentence still has its object and constraints. Optional text refinement should be assessed with the same criteria and should not send merely because it completed.
CueSpec saves drafts by conversation. If the visible text is not what you expect after switching tasks, stop and verify the context. Sending the correct draft once is the completion of this editing step; the AI task’s later result needs its own review.
