Read the latest answer before replying

Open a task’s latest answer before writing the next instruction. This restores context and helps you avoid answering an old question or requesting a change already made.

A quick review#

Identify what the task completed, what remains open and whether it needs your decision. If the answer presents alternatives, refer to the selected option clearly. “Use the option with the shorter signup path” is safer than “Do that” when several choices exist.

A completion reminder is a reason to read the result, not proof that the result is correct. Check proposed actions, actual changes and validation separately. If the agent asks for missing information, supply only the information intended for that task.

Reply in the same context#

CueSpec lets you edit a response and send it to the corresponding Codex conversation. Confirm the title before sending. For a different project or a fresh objective, use the appropriate task rather than attaching unrelated work to the current answer.

Reading a displayed answer does not imply that CueSpec has a complete archive or all external tool outputs. If the detail you need is missing, inspect the original Codex conversation. Task visibility and full evidence review are different capabilities.
