Establish the problem#
Read a fixed sentence once in a quiet room and once during ordinary office activity. Keep microphone, position and wording unchanged. Note missing words, inserted background phrases and meaning-changing errors. Do not intentionally record coworkers’ private conversations as test material.
If the quiet test already fails, focus on input selection and speech recognition first. If only the busy-room result fails, assess positioning, the environment and alternative microphones. Turning up input gain may amplify both you and the room.
Keep the request bounded#
Use short capture windows, then review the text. Type names and numbers if they repeatedly change. A draft containing a background phrase should be corrected rather than passed directly into the task.
SPECS 01 targets this capture problem, but four microphones and Bluetooth 5.3 do not establish verified selective voice pickup. CueSpec’s current materials do not justify a universal cutoff distance or a claim that surrounding speech is always rejected. Until that behavior is tested in your conditions, retain the review step and use a quieter location for sensitive instructions.
