# Supported workflow and integration boundaries

CueSpec’s released task workflow is a Mac companion for Codex. The reviewed evidence does not establish universal dictation into all applications or remote control of arbitrary apps.

## Current route
Read task states and latest answers, create or edit a draft, add supported attachments, and deliberately reply in the corresponding conversation. Local transcription is one way to produce the draft.

A conversation reply is different from a general operating-system command. CueSpec does not currently promise to manipulate every web form, drive every editor or automatically choose an agent for any spoken goal.

## Integration changes
The task interaction depends on the host application. The development history includes compatibility repairs after Codex changes. Keep CueSpec current and compare unusual results with the original conversation rather than assuming a past successful version covers every future host update.

Exact supported-version ranges and a provider matrix need stronger current evidence before they become guarantees. Windows, phone routing, multi-computer identity and broader agents remain separate roadmap areas. The present value is a focused companion workflow with reviewable drafts, not an unlimited compatibility claim.
