# macOS shows an unexpected installation warning

The published Mac 0.3.0 package is Developer ID signed and Apple notarized. If you see an unexpected warning, check the source, app copy and exact message before changing system settings.

## Inspect the situation
Confirm that the archive came from the official versioned download and extracted fully. Check that you launched the intended app from Applications rather than an older copy elsewhere. Retain the macOS message and operating-system version.

The accompanying official installation note is the appropriate starting point. If an organization manages the Mac, installation or execution may be restricted separately from application signing.

## Preserve security and evidence
Do not disable system-wide protections just to bypass a warning. A notarized package and an unexpected alert can coexist because the device, download or policy needs investigation. Fresh-machine and Intel install paths have not all received real acceptance in the reviewed snapshot.

For support, provide the version, source and sanitized screenshot of the message. Avoid sharing login credentials or device identifiers. A successful launch afterward should still be followed by separate checks for model readiness, microphone permission and actual conversation delivery.
