# Send your first reviewed reply

Send only after checking both the draft and its destination. A confirmed delivery means the message was received in the intended conversation; it does not mean the requested AI work has completed.

## Before sending
Read the latest answer in the selected task. Confirm that your new instruction is a continuation of that conversation, not a request meant for another project. Correct the draft and inspect any attachments before taking the send action.

For a first test, use a simple request with a recognizable response, such as “Reply with a one-sentence explanation of this option.” Then inspect the original Codex conversation for the submitted message. Once the task runs, read its resulting answer separately.

## If the outcome is unclear
An uncertain-send state retains the draft while CueSpec checks the result. Do not click repeatedly or copy the same request into multiple entry points. Check whether Codex received it. Re-enable sending only after establishing that the original attempt was not delivered.

A successful test should establish identity as well as content: the correct message in the correct conversation. A polished prompt delivered to the wrong task is still a failed workflow. Attachments and structured questions have additional edge cases, so add them after ordinary text replies work reliably on your setup.
