# Separate commute capture from later AI execution

An idea captured during a commute can become an AI request later, after you restore context and review the wording. Do not treat a rough voice note as automatic authorization to run work.

## Two different moments
During capture, preserve the insight without trying to specify every implementation detail. Later, open the relevant task and add the constraints you can now check: source files, target audience, deadline or actions requiring approval.

For example, “Make the report clearer” can become “Suggest a simpler explanation for the assumptions section; keep the figures unchanged and do not publish anything.” The later version adds actionable scope that was absent from the note.

## Avoid hidden dependencies
The available CueSpec workflow relies on the Mac and its Codex environment. Planned phone access is intended to route work to a selected computer, which would need to be running and connected. A phone app or wearable microphone should not be described as independently executing your desktop tasks.

There is no delivered cross-device capture-and-sync route in the reviewed release. Existing note tools can be used manually in the meantime. Review copied content for transcription errors and confirm the conversation title before sending; a commute idea may refer to a different project than the one currently open.
