# Make quick AI corrections in a café

In a café, keep requests brief, check for background words and protect sensitive content. A noisy environment can make a draft less accurate even when you feel comfortable speaking there.

## Choose a small task
A useful request is a correction to a task you have already read: “Use the shorter option and keep the deadline unchanged.” Review the name, option and deadline before delivery. If the environment prevents reliable recognition, type the correction instead of repeating it loudly.

Use your own speech for any comparison test. Changing device and location simultaneously makes it hard to identify the cause of a better result. Test one variable at a time and note how much editing the final draft requires.

## Public-space boundaries
Other people may hear the words you say and see the screen. Local transcription reduces dependence on a remote transcription service, but it does not solve overhearing or shoulder-surfing. Avoid reading credentials, client information or confidential requests aloud.

SPECS 01 integration is not yet a verified café workflow. Its planned soft-speech capture is relevant to this scenario, while actual background rejection and connection behavior remain to be tested. The available Mac route still ends with review and an explicit reply to a Codex conversation.
