# Bluetooth connection is not the whole AI input path

Bluetooth 5.3 is a supplier-listed connectivity specification. It does not establish that every host, audio profile or CueSpec control path is supported.

## Separate the stages
A useful combined route needs the device connected, the correct microphone selected, the audio captured, the words transcribed and the draft assigned to the intended conversation. Wearable control events may require additional integration beyond ordinary audio pairing.

If a sample pairs successfully, test whether the host is actually using its microphone. Audio coming from the glasses speakers does not prove input is using the same device. Record a non-sensitive phrase and inspect the transcript before assessing AI interaction.

## Do not invent pairing steps
The reviewed product sources do not establish final button sequences, pairing reset gestures or a supported-device matrix. Those details should be added after hardware acceptance rather than borrowed from another product’s manual.

Today, the released Mac companion can be evaluated with an existing known input device. SPECS 01 plus CueSpec remains an integration path. General Bluetooth connectivity, calling behavior and same-conversation Codex replies should each be verified separately.
